| At the Nevern Square Conservation Area RA AGM last night the developers of the Exhibition Centre site, were asked to provide key facts to help residents understand this complex site. Please see above. Clearly everyone would like to see something happen to the site, but the plan as it stands it is at an unsustainable scale. This overdevelopment of the 42-acres site will have a detrimental impact on existing area, residents and resources. • Overdevelopment and too high density of building • Traffic congestion during construction phase (up to 15 years) • No plans to improve the transport system which is already at strain • No plans to increase water capacity and pressure • No plans for sewage system capacity increase • Stress point for existing infrastructures Please object at your earliest opportunity and encourage your neighbours to do the same: https://www.rbkc.gov.uk/planningsearch/cases/PP/24/05187 Feel free to forward this message to other people you may think can help. The Nevern Square Conservation Area will be working with the Earl’s Court Society and the Kensington Society to prepare their submission to the Planning Committee hearing on Tuesday 9 December. |
